Is a webcam an input or an output device?

From my point of view, a webcam is an input device because it inputs data/information to the computer. A good example are images and videos which are stored to the computer.

Pirates of the Silicon Valley

Before I begin to my reaction. First of all, I will give a summary about the film "Pirates of the Silicon Valley"

Pirates of the Silicon Valley is a documented film about the duel between Steve Jobs of the Apple Company and Bill Gates of Microsoft. The movie draws out the evolution of the computers and how they advanced in technology in that era.

From my point of view, the "Pirates of the Silicon Valley" is a boring film to watch I must say. But after I watched the film, I learned about the history of computers and how technology advanced that era. Especially for the I.T. students who is interested in computer technology.

The movie is actually awesome because these two companies have unique abilities such as that they can do scientific research, estimate measures, create ideas like what a genius has. Also, they stole ideas from other company, make their own and pirate them. Especially, Bill Gates who trick the IBM Company that they can make their computers work, that they have the formula to their problem the DOS, that they can wipe the Apple Company. But in reality, they own nothing but a plan to pirate other's company get idea and call it their own . Same also as, Steve Jobs who went to Xerox Research Center just to grabbed the idea of Xerox, the mouse and graphic user interface. Also, how Bill Gates developed Windows by backstabbing Steve Jobs. But at the end of the film, they both decide to work together after Steve Jobs learned that Bill Gates developed Microsoft using the software that Apple had program to their computers.

Perhaps, we know why the movie is called "Pirates of the Silicon Valley" , it is because people steal information/ideas from others and consider them own and pirate them.

"good artist COPY, great artist STEAL"

What I learned from this movie is that set your eyes on the goal and avoid all the obstacles in your path because in every move you make their is a consequences whether good or bad effect. Be contented on what you have don't dare to even ask for more. Take the opportunity of what has been given to you.

Also I would like to thank Bill Gates and Steve Jobs for making this technologies because many people benefit from your devices such as Iphone, Ipad, Windows 8, etc. We all appreciated all the device you made and enjoy it.

Farewell Steve Jobs. hoho!!

End.
